SULTANAHMET. Der Bezirk von Sultanahmet befindet sich im Herzen des Alten Istanbuls und hat seinen Name vom Hippodrom (Pferderennbahn), wo viele Byzantinische und sportliche Ereignisse stattfinden. Heutzutage ist es wie ein wunderschöner Park. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt: der Palast Topkapi, die blaue Moschee, der Kapali Carsi (eine Art Markthalle), das archäologische Museum von Istanbul und die Fontäne von Wilhelm dem Zweiten.
In den engen Strassen rund um die Gegend des Hippodroms, gibt es zahlreiche Restarurants mit typischer Küche und Getränken. Bei einem Einkaufsbummel durch die Geschäfte und den Bazars, kann man die Atmosphäre der Stadt so richtig geniessen.

The contact person was very efficient and heplfull. The location is perfect, the apartment confortable and very quiet.

Great sized apartment in a brilliant location and a good price. Close to the blue mosque and the historic old town with a good range of food and drink options on the doorstep. It's walking distance to all the main sites through beautiful streets or if you don't like walking then it's close to the tram cheap to get taxis to/from.
Levant was easy to deal with and very helpful, he even gave us a lift for free from Taksim square which is where his office is based.
The only downside was that the hot water seemed to run out pretty quickly if you have more than two people taking showers in a row.

emplacement idéal à 5 min de topkapi et de la mosquée bleue - calme pratique - très bien chauffé - et confortable- bonne literie - très pratique: le porte clés avec la recharge pour les jetons de transports. épiceries très proches. je recommande fortement

Good for using and easy access of local transportation
Good for shops and restaurants
Very good for sights seeing area, all nearby to walking distance
Very good and helpful staff
Sheets and towels were clean and tidy
Bath room needs repair, its leaking and creating uncomfortably
Noise by neighbors and birds
Needs modernization
Kitchen utensil was not good and most of them are not available, must replace with new and full kitchenware

-L´appartamento è in pieno centro storico, a due passi dalla moschea blu e dalla basilica santa Sofia.
- Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile, come la maggior parte della gente del posto.

Our stay was wonderful! Levent, the owner of the apartment, contacted us several times and also took care of our transfer from the airport. The regular taxi transfers asked double the price we paid. I strongly recommend this apartment.
